Seasoned travelers know that summer months generally mean higher prices when it comes to things like airfare and hotel rooms. Even in a time like this, when the overall costs of travel are considerably lower than they might otherwise be, that’s still going to be true – the unbelievably cheap air tickets we saw advertised for winter travel just a few months ago are gone now. But the good news is that some of the prices on summertime trips are the lowest we’ve seen in awhile.
While the cheapest airline tickets – on simple round-trips or longer trips – might still be the ones you’ll get out of the peak season, that doesn’t mean you should put off your search for RTW tickets until after the summer. Some of the deals available this month are truly fantastic.
