Special February 2012 Fares for RTW Tickets

Our sister site over at BootsnAll is known as the One-Stop Indie Travel Guide. In the past few months, we’ve launched a few different community projects meant to dig back into our roots and really embrace the idea of indie travel. First there was November’s 30 Days of Indie Travel Project. At the beginning of 2012, we launched the 2012 Indie Travel Challenge. Now the BootsnAll Travel Network has teamed with esteemed travel writer and author of the popular travel book Vagabonding, Rolf Potts, to create the Indie Travel Manifesto.

The goal here isn’t to argue about what type of travel is best. We all know that everyone travels differently, and we respect and embrace that idea. The Manifesto is purely meant to define what this type of travel means to us and to create a community of people who consider themselves indie travelers. We want you, our readers, to have as much a say in the Indie Travel Manifesto as we do. So that’s why we’re asking for you to vote up or vote down the ideas we came up with for what makes an indie traveler. What ideals do you agree with? Which ones do you disagree with? Much like the RTW Plane Ticket Reviews, this is meant to be a collaborative effort between all travel lovers. We’d love to get your input on the Manifesto!
